The Liebich family are proud to continue the tradition of making fortified wines for over 100 years. Their range of fortifieds are highly regarded in the Barossa Valley region. All grapes for Liebich fortifieds are grown on the property and harvested at optimal ripeness late in vintage.
In the fortified classification, a Grand label indicates a wine aged 15-20 years, between the Classic and Rare ranges.
The Liebich Grand Semillon is a limited release aged 15 years showcasing the versatility of Semillon grapes. Supremely attractive dessert wine with deep brown colour and a complex nose. Gorgeous honeycomb, burnt toffee, toasted nuts and orange peel with a lovely depth of sweetness. Amazing length and a silky mouthfeel with flavours like liquid honeycomb.
