Extremely limited release Rare Barossa Tawny aged 30 years. Superb fortified for a special occasion. The essence of raisins and spices in a syrupy mouthful.
The Liebich family are proud to continue the tradition of making fortified wines for over 100 years. Their range of fortifieds are highly regarded in the Barossa Valley region. All grapes for Liebich fortifieds are grown on the property and harvested at optimal ripeness late in vintage.
Rare fortifieds are the most developed tier of the fortified classifications; Classic, Grand and Rare.
Liebich Rare Tawny is a blend of the very best and oldest wine from old barrels. It started with a small amount of wine from Ron's grandfather Gus Braunack from an 80 year old barrel.
This exquisite aged fortified captures the essence of raisins and spices in a syrupy mouthful. Extremely rich spicy fruit cake flavours linger long after the first sip.
Sensational sipping for a special occasion. Enjoy like a fine single malt whisky.
