A rare opportunity to release 100% Pinot Noir sourced from fruit grown on the Liebich property. The vines grow on heavy biscay soil in the southern part of the Barossa Valley. Two Pinot Noir clones, MV6 and Mariafeldt, were picked at critical optimum ripeness, destemmed, whole berries cold soaked before fermentation. Fruit was fermented on skins then basket-pressed after 8 days. The unwooded wine was bottled without fining or filtration to retain the essence of classic Pinot Noir characteristics.
