An early, fast and fabulous harvest – earliest finish ever!
Ron reports slightly higher tonnages and great juice quality all round. Vintage could be finished by Easter. There are just two varieties left to pick – Muscat and Grenache for fortifieds. The table grapes have been the best we can remember and we hope to share some over Easter when you visit.
We’re very excited that Ron has handmade a batch of Pinot Noir for a delicate pink sparkling – it could be a year before we see it in the bottle, so patience is to be tested. Janet is dreaming of sitting on the front verandah watching the sunset with sparkling glass in hand!
