The Liebich family are proud to continue the tradition of making fortified wines for over 100 years. Their range of fortifieds are highly regarded in the Barossa Valley region. All grapes for Liebich fortifieds are grown on the property and harvested at optimal ripeness late in vintage.
In the fortified classification, a Grand label indicates a wine aged 15-20 years, between the Classic and Rare ranges.
The Liebich Grand Tawny is a blend of the best barrels to average 15 years old. Rich and complex dessert wine with great depth and balance. Enticing dried raisins, spicy fruitcake and rancio characters. The palate has an outstanding length of luscious raisins and a dry, nutty finish.
