Liebichwein is a small family owned winery tucked in the southern ranges of South Australia’s famed Barossa Valley. It is located just a one hour drive north of Adelaide.

The vineyard and winery is run by husband and wife team, Ron and Janet Liebich, who have always lived in the Barossa and love the lifestyle it brings.

Ron is the grapegrower and winemaker extraordinaire with over 40 years’ experience. When not tending to the vineyard or hiding in the barrel shed, Ron can be found following the local football or cricket depending on the time of year.

Janet is in charge of day to day sales and marketing and the friendly face of cellar door. When not behind the bar or out on the road she enjoys creating a range of dishes using produce from the farm.

Ron and Janet are proud to be in control of everything from vine to wine. They love the flexibility of being able to make small batches in a wide assortment of wine styles to suit every palate. Styles include fresh whites, fruit-driven reds and a fantastic range of luscious sweet fortifieds for which Ron is well known in the area.

Ron is also well known for preferring to drink his own wines, so it is recommended to get hold of Liebichwein wines before he can get to them all!
